About Jacob
5 years teaching undergraduate labs and recitations at the University of Nebraska Lincoln with 7years tutoring students in Chemistry and Organic Chemistry.
I have tutored 9 students, and helped them develop learning strategies to achieve their full potential. Many of these student were preparing for a career in medicine. Not only was I able to help them develop the skills and knowledge to pass their classes but also to prepare them for their respective entrance exams.

I am Jacob. I graduated with my PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Nebraska Lincoln. I have 6 years experience tutoring General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. I realize that every student learns in different ways and I like to approach and design my lessons in a way that will allow the student to reach their full potential.
For Chemistry student at the University of Nebraska I also have considerable experience with the Chemistry faculty as a former student and Teaching Assistant. This allows me to further Taylor lessons to not only the student but also to the expectations and style of the professor. For my high school students I always reach out to their teacher so I understand both their goals as well as the Students.
I have a PhD in Organic Chemistry and have completed graduate level courses Biochemistry, Chemistry, and I have taken undergraduate level Biology I&II, anatomy &physiology, as well as calculus based Physics I&II.
In addition to this I have a minor in mathematics.
I love working with my students and helping them build the connections to apply what they are learning in the classroom to excel in Chemistry and Science. I am easy to reach and will respond to all of the students/parents questions and concerns. I will go the extra mile to see a student succeed!
