About Calla
I am a piano tutor with 4 years of experience and a passion for both composing and performing. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Theory and Composition with a Piano Emphasis. I see music as a lifelong journey, always evolving and offering new ways to grow. My teaching emphasizes improvisation and developing spontaneous composition skills. Beginners are guided patiently to build confidence and technique. Advanced students are encouraged to expand their expressive range and originality. Lessons combine structure with creative exploration. We focus on theory, technique, and personal expression together. My work as a composer inspires students to create their own pieces. My experience as a performer helps me teach communication through sound. Lessons are always interactive and inspiring. Every student is supported in finding their unique musical path. With me, piano becomes both a skill and a form of self-expression.

My piano teaching method is grounded in ear training and intuition. Students practice identifying melodies, chords, and rhythms without relying on sheet music. I guide learners toward relative pitch and help them explore perfect pitch development. This creates confidence and independence in musicianship. Composers benefit from turning ideas into sound quickly. Digital producers gain tools for creative work that feels natural and free. Beginners start with listening games and simple repetition. Advanced students practice improvisation, complex harmonies, and composition. Lessons are designed to connect ear and hand seamlessly. Exercises encourage exploration and discovery. Every class is interactive and supportive. Students are motivated to trust their ears. Music becomes easier to understand, play, and create. My goal is to help every learner become an intuitive and expressive pianist.
