About Julia
I have a BA in East Asian studies with a focus on Japanese and completed the Princeton in Ishikawa language intensive. I recently returned from studying in Japan and have tried out numerous study techniques and apps. I'd love to chat about what works best in my experience and be available to answer questions you have throughout the week!

Adult students wishing to learn Japanese leisurely or dip their toes into a new language, I believe Japanese is about learning the customs and mindsets as grammar. The student will start by learning basic words and phrases and discuss a culture point at each lesson. We will also introduce the 3 alphabets gradually. I want students to be interested so while we can follow the basic Genki I textbook, I am also open to discuss other materials.
