About Trace
I am a current student at Jordan High School who thoroughly enjoys math. I've taken all the advanced math classes offered through my junior year, and my senior year will be no different. It is my pleasure to help my classmates master math's many complexities, but It is my desire to provide a helping-hand to more struggling math students in my community. I have taken classes in arithmetic, geometry, pre-algebra through college algebra, trigonometry, and precalculus, all of which were at high levels.

My teaching methodology is not set in stone. All students learn differently, and thus one method of teaching will not be the best for every student. I would like to say that my method would be tailored to the individual in terms of if they learn best by example, pictures and diagrams, and so on. However, the common approach to teaching these different styles will be similar to that of a classroom style. I would say a common classroom teaching method would suffice: a lesson (if necessary) followed by examples and practice problems to the point of mastery. The lessons can build in complexity until the end of a unit, and then a review can be provided to put the new material into context. I also believe that putting problems on reviews from previous units would decrease the chances of previous math topics being forgotten.
