About Sandra
My saxophone lessons are designed with a focus on fostering both technical skills and musical creativity. I believe that every student learns differently, so I personalize my approach to meet each individual’s needs, goals, and musical preferences. For beginners, we start with the essential foundations, such as proper breath control, embouchure, and tone production, ensuring a strong base for their musical growth. As students progress, we dive into more complex aspects of saxophone playing, such as articulation, phrasing, dynamics, and rhythm, building a well-rounded understanding of music. Throughout my teaching, I emphasize creativity by encouraging students to experiment with improvisation and play by ear. This allows them to develop their personal musical voice and feel a deeper connection to the music. I also make sure that students enjoy learning by incorporating real songs, fun exercises, and challenges that keep them motivated. I firmly believe that consistent practice and positive reinforcement are key to success, and I work closely with each student to ensure they are progressing at their own pace. Whether you are preparing for a performance, an exam, or simply enjoying the process of learning, my lessons are designed to help students feel confident, inspired, and excited about their musical journey.

I specialize in creating a fun, engaging, and educational environment for saxophone students of all levels. Whether you’re just beginning or you’ve been playing for years, I provide lessons that are personalized to your individual needs and goals. My approach combines traditional saxophone technique, including breath control, posture, tone production, and finger dexterity, with innovative exercises that develop musical creativity and expression. Through interactive activities such as improvisation and rhythm games, students learn how to connect with music beyond the technical aspects. I also focus on ear training and developing a solid understanding of music theory, which can empower students to improvise, arrange, and compose their own music. My lessons include repertoire from a wide range of genres, including classical, jazz, pop, and contemporary, to give students a broad musical foundation. I believe that learning an instrument should be both enjoyable and rewarding, and my goal is to make every lesson engaging, challenging, and full of opportunities for growth. My students leave each session feeling more confident, motivated, and connected to their musical journey.
