About Alicia
My name is Alicia and I'm a Chinese-Canadian immigrant. I immigrated to Canada when I was 8 years old. I've been passionate about dentistry since I was a little kid. I work with Ryan, who is Taiwanese-Canadian. We are both 3rd year dental students at UBC, Vancouver, Canada. Having gone through the application process myself, I know the struggles of applying to dental school in Canada. As your instructor, my priority is to create a welcoming environment where you feel comfortable and confident to express your thoughts and questions. I’m committed to helping you navigate this challenging time and to making our time together both enjoyable and enriching!

Hello! My name is Alicia and I am a 3rd year dental student at UBC, Vancouver, Canada. I offer specific tutoring for pre-dental students who are looking to get into dentistry. This includes application help, extracurricular advice, personal statement edits, and MMI/interview prep. I am able to edit your personal statement alongside zoom sessions to discuss on how you can improve your writing. I also offer MMI practice via zoom. MMI interviews are integral to the dental school acceptance process, so it's essential to get practice and personal advice to ensure you excel in this portion of the application.
