About Zara
I teach guitar with 3 years of tutoring experience and a strong background in composition and performance. I earned my Bachelor of Music in Composition with a Guitar Emphasis. Alongside teaching, I compose and perform regularly, keeping my artistry alive. I see music as more than notes—it’s a lifelong skill that fosters creativity. My specialty is acoustic fingerstyle and classical guitar. These styles allow students to explore detail, arrangement, and subtle expression. I’ve worked with both beginners starting from scratch and advanced players seeking refinement. Lessons emphasize musicality, technique, and interpretation. I encourage students to see the guitar as a voice for personal expression. Each lesson balances structure with freedom. I believe music education should be challenging yet inspiring. My mission is to help students connect deeply with the guitar and enjoy every step of the journey.

My method of teaching guitar is built around curiosity and versatility. I show students how to move between styles like funk, country, metal, and jazz. I work especially well with teens who want to break free from the ordinary. I also help recording artists expand their sound for new projects. My lessons are flexible but always purposeful.
