About Kathleen
I am a retired researcher that has tutored 7 undergraduates in cell biology and immunology as a part of mentoring both pre-med students and undergraduates as part of my research experience. I am passionate about helping students understand biology as it applies to their bodies and the world around them. I was an older non-traditional student when I went to college and understand that everyone learns differently. Its my job to find the ways to simplify concepts to everyone I help.

My approach to teaching and tutoring is ensure that the basics are understood by presenting the material in a simplified form with concrete examples. Every person learns differently but when examples are given in a practical way that all can relate to the material becomes simplified. No question is stupid or silly is my moto.
