About Leonard

I'm retiredsuccessful real estate entrepreneur well-grounded in a plethora of basic and advanced building blocks of subjects ranging from algebra to Czech, a travel guide to Prague and New Orleans historic cemeteries. I've traveled as a tourist and volunteer in 46 countries, am fluent in 4 and basic in 2 other languages. I spent 9 years as a volunteer tutor in 3 different public schools(Atlanta, E.Palo Alto,New Orleans) and know many on-line sources to supplement any subject to enable students to make additional progress on their own.

About the lesson

I believe in challenging and teaching students how to think, attack problems, to change their negative or failed attitudes toward learning.In short, to give them tools to solve issues and subjects they had not previously thought they could master. I was able to get an entire 7th grade to prepare wall-sized posters containing a variety of subjects - e.g. space, water, engineering, the earth, historical man-made wonders, etc. sent to a Kenyan(Africa) public school made out of concrete blocks with no doors and no windows, no skylights, no desks, no picture textbooks and no blackboards.
