I have been a tutor who has been able to teach all sorts of levels (from elementary school all the way up to undergraduate) and all different types of students. My method is to first gain an understanding of my student and the manner in which they approach their work, and then apply my tutoring skills in a manner that will be most beneficial for their own learning styles.
No one student is exactly the same, but in my experience, there are a number of methods that can be altered to match whoever needs help.
I am a current student at the University of California Riverside, where I am enrolled in the Physics PhD Program, focusing on Nuclear/High Energy Physics. I have been tutoring for over 7 years now, in fields ranging from physics to math to SAT/ACT prep and even more.
My rates for SATs and ACTs is slightly higher, contact for information.
