About Riya
With over 9 years of teaching experience and a BSc in Physics with Materials Science, I bring a passion for astrophysics and cosmology into every lesson. My focus areas include stellar evolution, black holes, general relativity, and the Big Bang theory. I guide students through the science of how stars are formed, how they end their lives, and the incredible transformations that follow. Black holes, with their extreme physics, are a topic I explore in depth. I’ve worked with astronomy club members, aspiring astrophysicists, and curious learners of all ages. My sessions blend theoretical concepts with observational evidence from modern astronomy. Students learn to think critically about cosmic phenomena. I use simulations, diagrams, and real telescope data to bring space science to life. Complex mathematical ideas are broken down into simple, logical steps. My aim is to build both confidence and curiosity in my learners. Together, we explore the universe as both scientists and storytellers.

My teaching approach in physics is built on clarity and structure. I focus on thermodynamics, heat transfer, states of matter, and gas laws, helping students see the connections between theory and real-world behavior. We start with the basics, then gradually move toward more complex applications. I explain each concept in simple steps to ensure it’s easy to follow. Students learn how energy moves, changes form, and drives natural processes. I work especially well with Gadget Hackers and Experimentalists, guiding them to design and analyze practical setups. Every session includes examples from daily life, like engines, refrigerators, and weather patterns. I provide regular feedback to track progress and strengthen understanding. My method encourages problem-solving and clear reasoning. I aim to make students confident in applying physical laws to experiments and observations. By the end, they gain both knowledge and the ability to think like a physicist.
