About Kavish
I am a first year undergraduate student at the University of Warwick studying Physics with Astrophysics. I did the IB diploma in Singapore in 2021 and got a 6/7 in Physics HL, as well as an A* in Physics during my IGCSEs in 2019. I also got a Bronze medal in the Singapore Junior Physics Olympiad (SJPO) in 2018, and am extremely passionate about astrophysics. I aspire to get a PhD and do astrophysics/astronomy research in the future.

I am open to teach physics to IB and IGCSE students (according to their syllabus). If interested, I could also teach a basic version of interesting physics topics such as quantum mechanics, special relativity and astronomy. My main goal is to help students understand concepts they find difficult to grasp (as I did during my IB and IGCSE years) and help them overcome these challenges. I also want to share my passion for the subject and my knowledge to anyone who is willing to learn and shares the same drive and desire that I do. Lessons would be online and for about an hour.

I have known Kavish since middle school, and his interest and passion for physics (particularly astrophysics) has always been evident throughout our conversations. So many of our discussions have revolved around the fascinating interpretations of quantum mechanics, or about the interesting structures observed in outer space.
Having worked in multiple projects and competitions with him I can attest to the fact that he is diligent, responsible, knowledgeable, and passionate, with a knack for explaining difficult concepts clearly and in an engaging manner.
His interest in physics is not limited to the classroom - during our final year, he took on an extended research project exploring the formation of stress patterns in rapidly cooled glass. This proactive and initiative taking approach to study is what I believe makes him a great tutor - he brings that passion and energy into his teaching and can help his students engage and understand the content in a manner superior to plain explanations.
