About Charles
I have a background in teaching and music directing with a degree in piano performance. I have running a music program at a church for five plus years. I am in charge of all the music that is to be performed on a weekly basis and have an extensive knowledge of liturgical music, classical music, and theatre music.

I believe students only want to learn what they want to learn for the most part. However, new musicians are happy when they can fully perform a new piece of music regardless of the difficulty. It is important to me to have a student walking out of each lesson with the ability to play a new song/piece. The lessons are guided by what genre piques any given students interest. Piano technique started in classical so there will always be a foundation built on classical no matter what type of music a student chooses to pursue.
