About Jessa
Every pianist has a story, and I help students turn that story into music. Some arrive nervous, worried about hitting the wrong notes or playing in front of others. Others feel tense, their hands stiff and unsure. I guide them through gentle daily finger workouts that loosen the hands and build strength step by step. We shape phrases together, learning how to make each melody sing and feel alive. Stage fear is something we tackle with small, safe performances, slowly building courage until playing for others feels natural. Sight-reading becomes an adventure rather than a chore, with rhythms broken down into easy patterns and fun exercises. For students who want clear structure, I create routines and goals that give them steady progress they can see and celebrate. For those who crave freedom, we explore improvisation, songwriting, and lyrical expression, letting emotions flow through the keys. Confidence grows naturally as students hear themselves improve and feel proud of their sound. I make sure every lesson is a mix of discipline, discovery, and joy. Together, we turn challenges into victories, one note at a time.

I'm a passionate piano teacher with over 3 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Piano. My teaching blends traditional fundamentals with a modern, tech-forward approach. I incorporate MIDI technology, online recording tools, and digital notation apps to make lessons interactive, creative, and future-ready. Whether you're into classical technique, pop songwriting, or beat-making, I tailor each lesson to match your musical goals.
I’ve worked with students who are passionate about music production, composing their own songs, or exploring hybrid genres that mix jazz, hip-hop, EDM, and more. I believe in nurturing creativity while building strong sight-reading and keyboard technique. We’ll break down complex rhythms, expand your harmonic vocabulary, and unlock your unique musical voice.
Lessons are designed to be engaging and relevant. We’ll record your progress, create custom backing tracks, and use notation tools to write your own music. You’ll gain real-world musical skills while having fun. I also support students preparing for auditions or composing for personal projects.
