About June
I hold a Master’s degree in Music with a specialization in piano performance and have eight years of teaching experience. My background combines technical mastery with artistic insight, allowing me to guide students in both skill development and expressive interpretation across all levels of learning. Over the years, I have taught more than thirty-five students, from beginners to advanced performers preparing for exams or recitals. Many have reached personal milestones such as mastering complex pieces, performing confidently in public, and developing a strong musical voice, which continues to inspire my teaching practice. In addition to teaching, I remain actively engaged in performance, composition, and piano literature. This ongoing involvement allows me to bring current techniques, new repertoire, and practical insights into every lesson. My goal is to help students not only play the piano skillfully but also enjoy music as a lifelong pursuit.

My piano lessons begin with developing a strong technical foundation. Students focus on hand positioning, scales, arpeggios, and finger exercises to build dexterity and control. These fundamentals establish comfort and accuracy at the keyboard, enabling learners to approach more complex pieces with confidence and precision.
As students advance, I emphasize sight-reading, rhythm, and harmonic understanding. Through progressive exercises, pieces, and repertoire, learners gain fluency in reading music and applying rhythmic accuracy. This stage strengthens independence at the piano, allowing students to interpret music confidently and adapt to different styles or genres.
Interpretation and performance are also key aspects of my teaching. Students learn to shape phrases, control dynamics, and express musical emotion effectively. Lessons include strategies for memorization, recital preparation, and stage presence, ensuring learners not only play technically but also deliver expressive and compelling performances.
