About Zephyr
With over 12 years of experience as a piano instructor, my journey in music has been defined by a passion for teaching and a deep appreciation for diverse genres like jazz, classical, and pop. My approach combines technical proficiency with creativity, aiming to inspire students of all ages to explore the rich world of piano playing.
Beyond teaching, my hobbies include immersing myself in music theory, where I continuously explore new concepts and methodologies to enhance my teaching repertoire. I believe in fostering a nurturing environment where students can develop not only their technical skills but also their artistic expression and musicality. This holistic approach is complemented by my own enjoyment of playing and composing music, which allows me to share firsthand insights and experiences with my students.
Outside of music, I find joy in exploring nature through hiking and photography, activities that offer a refreshing balance to my musical endeavors. These interests not only recharge my creativity but also inform my teaching philosophy, encouraging a well-rounded approach that emphasizes both technical mastery and personal enjoyment in piano learning.
