About Ivy
I’m a piano teacher with over 9 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. My goal is simple: to make playing the piano a joyful part of your everyday life. I believe music should feel approachable, not intimidating, so my lessons balance casual creativity with solid, reliable technique. I love working with adult learners, late beginners, and those returning to the piano after a break. Whether you’re learning for personal enjoyment or to share music with others, I’ll meet you where you are and help you grow. We’ll work on personal song arrangements so you can play the music you truly love. I also teach accompaniment skills, giving you the tools to play with singers, other musicians, or just for yourself. For those who prefer a more intuitive approach, I incorporate learning by ear, so you can connect with the music in a natural way.
