About Samantha

Having spent years mentoring in school music clubs and virtual open mics, I understand what it’s like to feel uncoordinated (my own start was full of fumbled chords!). Every session is about YOUR goals—whether that’s playing for friends, enjoying a hobby, or just feeling less nervous holding a guitar. I love celebrating each little breakthrough, and I know just how much encouragement it takes to make you stick with music and love how far you’ve come.

About the lesson

Worried you “can’t play music”? My beginner guitar sessions are built for you. We start with the basics—how to sit, hold, and tune your guitar—before strumming your first chord, all at your own pace. Instead of boring drills, I use songs you actually know, short “riff wins,” and handy practice tips to make every session a little victory. You’ll get colorful chord maps, slow-mo demo videos, and a “sound log” where every new note gets a gold star. If you want, we even try simple duets together or short Insta-worthy song bits to share for fun—totally pressure-free.

No test, no judgment, and no such thing as “behind”: just repeated steps, patient checks, and real, proud progress. My goal is to help you connect guitar to your life—even if it’s just for your living room audience.
