About Amirhossein

Hello! I am a friendly, patient medical grad with ten years of experience tutoring a wide range of academic subjects. I was accepted to join the school of medicine in February 2008 and because of my national rank of 165 and also my grade A, I became a member of Education Development center of our university, the official organization responsible for specially talented students (affiliated by WHO). I've been tutoring since 2008. and have worked with many different students from those who struggle to pass to those who are looking to achieve perfection. Whatever it may be that you want to achieve, I will help you develop a plan and work with you to reach your goals.

About the lesson

My focus is to give each of my students a way of approaching answers through conceptual thinking, so they don't have to rely on pure memory. We will begin with a NBME, the standard of determining where you stand. I will analyze your NBME based on the nature of the bar distribution. We can determine a strong lesson plan from that point. At the core of my lesson plans is working one-on-one with students on the USMLE WORLD QBank, an absolute must, as the real test mirrors the interface.

Perfect! Dr Amir is an excellent teacher. I was struggling with the cardiorespiratory module. He really helped me in understanding different topics (he explained physiology, pathophysiology, sign and symptoms and treatment for different CR problems). He was able to set up a teaching plan and effectively manage the sessions.
Dr. Amir is a consummate professional, demonstrates enthusiasm, vigour, involvement, and interest in the lesson. He praises, elicits, and responds to my questions.
