Zelda Sheldon’s 4-decade career as a high-end commercial singer, speaker, songwriter and entertainment producer provides her voice and music coaching students with a wide ranging and expansive educational experience - whether the student’s goal is to gain self confidence or to succeed at the professional level, or simply have fun learning.

Zelda has produced award-winning music for commercial broadcast and works in recording studios with professional speakers, singers, and musicians across all the pop music genres and her award-winning works continue to be broadcast on television worldwide.

As a coach with over 10,000 coaching hours experience for students across the world, Zelda is passionate about sharing the skills she has gained from her industry expertise. She has the energy and vibe that brings out the best in students of all ages and all levels - from children to professionals, from amateurs to professors.

About the lesson

Students of all ages and all levels - from raw beginners to touring professionals - say they love Zelda’s super-organized and systematic approach. Right from the first lesson they can easily identify and measure their baseline skill level, and through the fun super productive exercises and techniques rapidly close skill gaps. Students enjoy seeing their breakthroughs, successes, and progress in their lessons.

Students apply the tools they are learning to the material and projects that are meaningful to them and at their pace so they can engage fully and master each tool and technique in real-life application. Students are given home practice activities to help them progress even faster.

“With a big presentation coming up in 3 weeks I wanted to get my speaking voice working better so my nurse found Zelda to be my voice coach. I liked that she was also a singing voice coach and could possibly help me with breathing. After smoking three packs of cigarettes a day for 35 years I suffered from Emphysema which made it difficult to breathe and was on inhalants. I could barely speak a sentence without throat clearing and coughing. After my first lesson with Zelda and doing just a single voice warm up I noticed an immediate improvement and my voice felt so good, so I booked another 10 sessions so I could get my voice and breathing to work better in the 3 weeks I had to prepare. The warm up helps my voice feel and sound better. And with Zelda’s voice and breathing exercises I found my voice could go longer each day without clearing my throat or coughing, which I habitually did all time. And by the end of 2 weeks I could do the entire presentation without a single cough or throat clearing. Zelda even helped me prepare for the presentation with what foods and drinks to have and how to preserve my voice for the big day. Zelda's training helped build my confidence while building my skills. Lessons were also fun, which is important. She really gave me a lot of knowledge about singing and different styles, such as jazz or pop, and how I could practice the style. We had a lot of fun breaking down popular songs and finding my own way to style them. Now I'm much more confident and can enjoy karaoke night! Zelda gets 10 out of 10 from me, you can't go wrong hiring her!
