About Anna

Anna Dean is an accomplished archaeologist and researcher with a robust Ancient Near Eastern studies background. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Ancient Near Eastern Studies specializing in Egyptian Archaeology from the University of Chicago. Anna also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with a concentration in Archaeology and a minor in Museum Studies from Texas A&M University.

Anna's work experience includes her current role as a Collections Technician at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. In this position, she manages research and cares for the collections of the Hall of the Americas and the Hall of Ancient Egypt.
