About Anthony

With over 15 years experience drawing, I've discovered some missing links when it comes to drawing dynamic, flowing figures. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist looking for fresh approaches, you'll be able to take home a better understanding when it comes to putting life into your life drawing or figure invention.

About the lesson

Appropriate for all levels of artist! Movement, energy, acting, expression, flow. These are some of the difficult concepts that you'll be learning. In my lesson we'll first decipher what your individual artist goals are. From there we will see how I help widen your spectrum of understanding to overcome weaknesses. Lastly, if interested, we apply to your personal art. What to expect: Help build practice routine after establishing weaknesses. Warm-up drawing session. Demonstration on individual-based topic. Assign mini projects to apply new drawing concepts.

Anthony is the kindest, funniest, most outgoing and sweetest person I know I trust him with my eyes closed he’s always had my back no matter when I need him I could probably call him at 3am and he would still pick up. I know he’s an amazing friend, an amazing fiancé, the best supervisor and he’s most definitely the best teacher. Anthony has taught me so much and there’s still so much I can learn from him but no matter where you are in life or how you’re doing Anthony would never judge you he would look past all your problems in life and still mange to help I can write about why I think Anthony would be the best teacher but I would be writing a book. If anyone is looking for an amazing teacher Anthony would certainly be the perfect fit.

When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?
I have always loved the escape that visual art can provide. Video games, animation, and comics/manga were so captivating. When I was young, these art forms allowed me to stay positive during troubling times. In grade 6 elementary school I drew a copy of Sonic the Hedgehog as an in-class assignment. To my surprise, it turned out really good and that's when I discovered my proficiency with drawing.
What makes you passionate about your subject?
Recently the power of being able to create has been fueling my passion.
What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?
I really love seeing new artists unlock their potential and experience a drawing level up!
Do you have any role models; or a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.
One main professional artist I look up to is the legendary Disney animator, Glenn Kean. His ability to create movement is magical. Others are Chris Sanders, Cassey kuo, Kim Jung Gi and many more.
What are your keys to success?
My keys to success would be first to separate yourself from your art as an identity. You are more than your last drawing.
Always be curious and eager to learn. Get serious with deliberate practice and not just comfort zone doodling. Lastly, remember to warm up!
