About Ren

As mentioned before, I am a professional musician. The two bands I play in now are called Bedroom Floor and Knifespitter. While these both fall into the metal genre, I spend my free time writing softer, more ethereal music.
I studied both audio engineering and music in college and have taught people on the side throughout my college years.

About the lesson

I grew up taking music lessons from professionals all throughout my youth - but there was always something that didn't quite click with me.
As I went on to teach myself and learn more about the instruments I play, I figured out what it was. I've been teaching people for the last few years and my main goal has always been to find that person's learning style and base my teachings around it. Teaching completely by the book is not helpful for everyone and finding out what is proves to be way more useful.
I play five instruments, and have played in about 10 different bands in my lifestyle - all of different genres. I know about many different styles of guitar playing and find each one just as great.
