My teaching approach is focused on helping students and clients reach their specific goals. Often students are working towards producing a specific deliverable (e.g., presentation, speech, analysis, pitch, etc.) and we prioritize the necessary steps and work towards completing those steps to produce high quality output.
I truly believe a well-written letter, essay or report can open doors and create opportunity for people, and I have ample examples of situations where individuals used their words wisely and distinguished themselves and their ideas from exceptionally crowded competitions.
My documentary on the global refugee crisis has been profiled by Vanity Fair Magazine online and I have given two TEDx Talks on the subject. My photography is in the permanent collections of numerous museums including the New York Historical Society, Museum of the City of New York, International Center of Photography and others. I earned my MBA at The Wharton School and currently pursuing my Masters in Journalism at Harvard University. I am an investment banker by training, having worked at Goldman Sachs and other major investment banks on M&A, private equity, venture capital and other alternative investments. I have extensive experience in business writing (business plans, reports, analysis), journalism and essays. I am also an Advisor to Princeton University's Keller Center for Innovation mentoring students running startup businesses.

My professional training was as an investment banking analyst and associate, where I was responsible for writing business plans, proposals and formal documents for institutional investors. I have been hired to write screenplays and was formerly represented by International Creative Management for a nonfiction book project. I am a contributing author to The Handbook of Infrastructure Investing (Wiley + Sons), and Co-Editor of Tanna Island Custom Laws (3rd Edition). My current documentary work has been profiled in major magazines and I am an active public speaker, having recently given two TEDx Talks.
