I believe that everyone has some great skills that they are gifted with, my job is just to enhance those skills in order to make someone a greater version of themselves.
I am very patient, open minded and keen to learn also.
I am the "let's do ice breakers" guy because I believe in getting people comfortable in any setting, whether online or physical and that allows them to be very active and interactive when lessons begin and also bring out their creativity. In order for someone to learn you must give them material/information and teach them how to use that information to the best of their capabilities, ask them questions and allow questions from them, then after we create a task to test if they grasped what you taught. There are visuals involved to make one understand better and of course we get practical, exciting I know.
When it comes to individual tutoring I know each individual is different from the other therefore my tutoring depends on the characteristics of that individual in order for them to learn.

A gem. Met Thando through work; I manage a branch of the programme he volunteers at (yes he gives back). As both a tutor and mentor, I can say that his impact is astounding, he is the type that walks the talk; a crucial quality to possess. Our young people really enjoyed working with him and always looked forward to his tutoring sessions and interactions.
Okay, NT I've worked with him a couple of times. He's a practitioner, former chair at a performing art society. He's very professional, doesn't take for granted what he does. I remember this other time we were working together for NAF, he guided me to develop my character to the fullest package. He's a comic guy and can give you any character you want, very educational in terms of art.
I haven't known NT for long but during the time I've known and worked with him I picked up a few things about him. Firstly that he is so passionate about his craft and that for me is a big tick in books. He also respects his craft and the people around him.
I remember when I was cast in a short film he co-wrote, he went out of his way to make sure I understand the story and the character I played in-depth and assured me that his door is open should I need more help. He has this way of painting a clear picture for you, that is so clear that all questions you had are answered in one explanation, he does that effortlessly. He has so much patience especially for people who are eager to learn. I'll always respect him for his honest opinion and constructive criticism, he is one of a few people who I trust their opinion and I turn to for advice.I met NT in 2019, he was the chairperson of the Universities Performing Art Society ( better known as PAS). At the time I really didn't have any artistic ability or any specific interest in any artistic genre, but after seeing NT perform with the true love and enthusiasm for his art, it sparked something. And I believe he noticed that because he pushed me to move out of my comfort zone and try new things. He showed me techniques and acting methods that helped me alot. Because of his encouragement and his informative criticism, I've been able to grow as an artist and have performed in a number of student short films and performed as an extra in signal high season 2 that plays or still will be played on SABC 2. He continues to support me and help me master my craft, he's my "go to" for artistic advice. He has even encouraged me to not only grow my acting but also poetry, dance and even try music. I've had a lot of fun working with and observing NT, I've seen him script write his own theater, and
video, productions as well as perform in the NAF and dance on stages in Namibia. He has done alot for his craft and to me is really something to admire and aspire to.I've worked with NJ on a couple of productions and he is an amazing actor.
He is a reliable and responsible person.I've worked with NJ on couple of productions and he is one amazing actor.
He is good, reliable and responsible person. It is simply because he is a good mentor, I know him personally he was my mentor and still is. I have also watched his performances that were written and directed by him and they were great. I love his work.
Lastly I think NT is a trustworthy tutor because he can see potential in people, and if he sees that in someone he pushes you to become a better creative.I had the privilege of working with NT in 2018 when we were both part of our student residence's "Drama Society." I was the story writer and he crossed all the t's to give the story some structure as a scriptwriter. I am yet to meet someone who takes his work as seriously as NT. He embodies the word "creative" to its core.
He is very forward-thinking and detail-oriented in his characters and makes each character feel important and included in the story. I was also given some acting lessons as he pays considerable attention to every little nod or body language from each character- & how that plays a role in the grand scheme of things (the story).
I would be lying to say I would have half the knowledge I now possess in storytelling, had I not met NT.
He's absolutely phenomenal at his job. A great teacher, who enjoys sharing his knowledge and working with him is an everyday pleasure, as you learn something new each day!I have known NT for 4 years, he was a member of the society, he then moved to drama coordinator and then became a chairperson. NT is not just into Arts, he breathes, eats and smell Arts. He is a great mentor and is great with people, he is all about bettering the other person, that is to say you can not be in the same room with him and leave without something valuable even if it's something small. He is the kind of person who thinks outside the box and is always finding ways to better himself, he is very accountable and he once wrote a theoretical play for the National Arts Festival which was a huge success. He can be very tough on a person yet it comes from a good place.
NT is an individual who goes out of his comfort zone to pursue whatever he puts his mind to. I personally have had the luxury of seeing it 1st hand as he has managed to play a huge role in contributing to me polishing my artwork and strongly believing in more than what meets the eye. He used to be my mentor and that helped me a lot in establishing myself even more than I thought I could, to the person that I am today. He is blunt and he sticks to being himself, which I find really admirable. For someone to have a tutor like him would be of great honor and he does not only focuses on one aspect of things but brings the diversity into it for the betterment of one's knowledge and wellbeing. Working with him also plays a huge role in one's social life and the way we perceive things. He's a must have on my side!
NT is an amazing teacher, I say this from personal experience. He is an incredible Artist who is committed to his craft. I promise this to his students, “Y’all do not want to miss out!”
NT is a hard worker and very goal driven. He knows how to motivate others and helps you reach your end goal. NT is highly recommendable, you won't go wrong when choosing him to assist you.
