About Simon

Hi there, my name is Simon, and I'm a 34-year-old psychologist and Spanish teacher from Trujillo, Venezuela. Growing up in this beautiful Andean city, I was always fascinated by the diversity of cultures and languages that surrounded me. My passion for language and culture led me to pursue a career in teaching Spanish as a second language, where I could combine my psychological skills and knowledge with my love for language and culture.

After completing my undergraduate degree in psychology, I decided to specialize in teaching Spanish as a second language. I believe that language learning should be an immersive experience that goes beyond just grammar and vocabulary. As a Psychology Professor at a local university, I strive to create a dynamic and interactive learning environment where my students can explore the cultural nuances and context of the Spanish language.

In addition to my teaching, I also enjoy writing short stories and poetry in Spanish. I believe that literature is a powerful tool for language learning and personal growth, and I incorporate it into my classes whenever I can. I'm also passionate about mental health awareness and use my psychological skills to help my students cope with stress and anxiety.

Travel is another big passion of mine. I've had the opportunity to explore many parts of Latin America, immersing myself in local cultures and languages. I believe that travel and language learning go hand in hand, and I encourage my students to do the same.
