Psychology Graduate willing to tutor anyone of any skill set or level

When I started tuition lessons with Holly I was not confident in A level biology and had a hard time grasping the content. As the lessons progressed, I was able to not only understand the content in depth but also learn new ways in which I was able to retain that knowledge. This included analogies or acknowledging what the words actually meant. Holly repeatedly made sure I understood what she was saying and asked multiple questions along the way to ensure that I was learning. When I did not understand a certain word or the content in general, Holly broke it down and made me see it from a different perspective. Showing me useful ways to approach questions that posed difficulties. This also helped boost my confidence as Holly created an atmosphere that enabled me to ask questions freely and not be ashamed, which is crucial as I felt that I could not do that in normal lesson time with my teachers in school. Overall, Holly is an amazing tutor that is not only academically knowledgeable in a range of subjects but is also extremely organised. She always delivers excellent lessons and never fails to ask questions about how I’m feeling or how my week went which adds a more deeper connection between myself (a student) and a tutor.
