About Geetika

I have taught over 300 students in past 5 years at college level.
I have been giving lessons for last 8 years using a combination of lecture lased classrooms, online programs, paper quizzes or clicker questions and online homework tools.

Supervised and assisted students with multi-step synthesis of compounds, prepared teaching material including problem sets and exams, conducted experiment discussions, procedures, pre-lab quizzes, and graded reports, ensured proper Personal Protective Equipment protocol, help students to obtain and interpret NMR spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, optical rotation.

Emphasized on maintaining scientist-like notebook over the conventional “lab report.” Assisting students with supplemental worksheet/question using Microsoft Word and ChemDraw; grading quizzes, weekly reports and lab final examinations, conducting experiments with special needs student. Assist students to conduct and understand many common organic chemistry tasks, including yield calculations, thin layer chromatography, crystallization, distillation, extractions, handling of air/water-sensitive reagents, solvent removal, and temperature control of reactions (reflux, ice-baths, etc.)
