About Alexander
My seven years of experience teaching physics up to A-level (UK-equivalent to AP), as well as the other sciences and math up to middle school, places me well to support the education of you or your loved ones. I have a wide range of activities and resources that I can draw on to ensure that there is consistent academic progress. I have taught students with a wide range of prior attainment (including those who struggled and those who need extra challenge), and would love to support your educational goals!

I can offer tutoring for math, biology and chemistry (or other sciences) up to middle school level, and physics up to high school, including AP.
Any good lesson will start with a short recap of what's been done previously (including working out where any issues lie, if it's our first lesson). Then, making use of clear explanations and explicitly demonstrating key concepts, we can build understanding of concepts before practicing applying them to exam questions and real-life scenarios.
I will check the understanding is there during the lesson, and have experience making adaptations where needed.
I am offering primarily online tutoring though if local I can come to your house or meet somewhere convenient (e.g. a local library, if they have private spaces for discussing the work!). I will use my laptop for discussing the concepts, as well as my iPad simultaneously to act like a whiteboard or screen-sharing to make use of technology to support my explanations.
Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the teacher
He was extremely patient with me and took the time to explain things in different ways to ensure that I understood. When explaining things, he often used relevant examples so I could understand the practical applications of the topics too. Also, he made me feel comfortable enough to ask questions throughout tutoring. Really recommend!!
