About Theresa
I love reading and can't imagine not being able to enjoy a book and being swept away with it. I want to instill this love in all my students. I believe there is no such thing as a child who doesn't like to read, rather, that child has not found the right book yet or the confidence in themselves. For students who are already strong readers and love books, it is a privilege to help them take their strengths to the next level. For students who say they do not like reading, it is a pleasure to give them the tools, skills, and encouragement necessary to turn their relationship with books around. The greatest joy is seeing a student go from not enjoying reading to asking for books and wanting to share their reading.
