About Lauryn

I am Lauryn, I am 27 and I graduated from my Master's degree in Cultural and Critical Theory in 2022. I have a passion for learning and reading, which is something I hope to inspire in others while tutoring. My main area is Philosophy, with a focus on Critical Theory. I wrote my MA thesis on Existentialism and Literature. I currently work full time, but I want to keep my interest in Philosophy alive by tutoring students in the evenings. Outside of this, my hobbies include reading, crafting and music. I am a guitarist and aspiring banjo player, and I enjoy going to festivals and seeing live music when I can.

About the lesson

I make my lessons fun and engaging for students, incorporating a mixture of written resources and discussion-based sessions. I can help with essay writing and exam preparation, and I am passionate about the subjects I tutor in. My passion for these subjects is something which I hope I can inspire in those who choose me as a tutor.
