About Alexis
I am a recent graduate having studied French at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. I also studied abroad in the south of France for a semester and was the Vice President of the French Club for a year. During my time in college, I volunteered for the Conversation Partner Program and had an internship at a local high school, where I led short conversations with students in order to boost their confidence in their speaking and listening skills.

My focus is basing conversation on the topics the students are learning in class. I feel it allows them to be more comfortable and understanding of the words and phrases they are hearing in the classroom. In addition, it allows the students to better remember what they learned, because they are doing more than simply memorizing words for an exam. I have experience working with both high school and undergraduate students and highly enjoyed my time with all students I worked with.
