About Vance
A dedicated artist and experienced teacher with over 35 years in Chicago, my passion for tennis ignited in 1989, inspired by Michael Chang's historic French Open victory. My consistent play in local club tournaments has earned me several championship trophies and the nickname "human backboard" among competitors for my ability to return virtually any shot. This deep personal experience and unwavering consistency translate directly into my coaching, offering students a solid foundation and strategic insights to elevate their game.
