About Jacquie
I have been teaching in some capacity for over 20 years. I am a mature lady who takes learning seriously. I have worked both in and out of the classroom. I love to teach English, Literature and History. I especially love to inspire others to learn in these areas.

My approach to teaching is to make learning fun. but to also stay on task. For Example I taught an older student about The ancient Mayan Culture. I used may what if questions for the student to explore the material with new eye such as how does the Mayan food compare to the food served and grown today. I like to work with either adults or children. I think what sets me apart from other teachers is that I try to tailor the lesson to the student for a better understanding of the material.
