About Marc
I taught undergraduate Mathematics classes for 7 years at The University of Madison when I was a graduate student, and rode a ten-speed around tutoring Math for $10/hour in "fraternity row" in 1992-1993 when my Poker savings was gone and I was desperate to survive until my dissertation was turned in. My wife died recently after decades of illness. I won't mind driving a little as long as roads are good. Finally embracing the world again...

I could manage Mathematics from kids to most undergraduate classes. Some graduate level Analysis/Applied Math/Probability (with me reading ahead of time!) Physics through the basic college classes (with me gladly reading ahead of time - I almost chose Physics way back when.) I've made mathematical models for Backgammon, Poker, Blackjack, trading options, trading futures, controlling communication networks and analyzing how protein and carbohydrate intake jointly affect blood sugar. Most of it was proprietary/personal, but I have a 155 page dissertation and a handful of joint publications on bankroll management for Poker and Blackjack. I learned the Math and programming I needed to solve the problems I want solved. I'll be able to answer the age old question "what will I ever need this for?" that Math students always ask!

Details
Prices are negotiable. Short drives for me would be the best right now - my house is currently a wreck from construction work. I'm an old guy that thinks Math should be done in person, but you might change my mind.
