Methodology
When I was COO of a distance learning company I learned to tailor learning and teaching to the style of the learner. We will sit down first and pick an approach that works for you. The emphasis is on developing a custom program just for each student.
Background
I am a retired teacher. I've taught classes from pre-school to University graduate school. I excel at teaching kids and having fun while increasing their learning. I have 5 kids that I helped prepare and get each accepted to university and graduate school. My subject list is wide (they only let me list 5) and includes all high school math subjects from Algebra through Calculus and high school science courses including Biology Chemistry and Physics. I have tutored many, many individuals, kids, adults, and business executives.

This site doesn't allow for fees that are varied and flexible depending on student commitment, level of education, and what program we develop together. I usually charge no fee for our first "lesson" to get to know the student, the goals for tutoring, and to create a custom personalized study plan. From there we can set fees, etc...I give discounts for families, and for long contracts. Let's have a conversation!

Briefly: The subjects I teach is limited to 5 but mathmatics includes all high school math - Algebra, Geometry - Trig - Analysis, and Pre- and Calculus. I was a pre-medical student so sciences are well known to me so I also teach mos high school sciences -Physics - Biology - Chemistry - etc and of course lower level curriculum.I taught at Pepperdine University for 15 years. Taught workshops and seminars at USC, BYU, Cal Poly, CLU, & Moorpark . I've given workshops in High School, Junior High School, and Elementary School. (I've taught pre-school as well.) I love to teach and to help turn on the lights of understanding. I'm very interested in helping people to think critically along with any subject matter.
