About Jorgiana Antonietta

I have a Master Degree in Translation Studies, a Bachelor Degree in Literature and in International Relations. I've been working with text revision and translation from English for more than 10 years, emphasizing the high discursive standard, fluidity and semantic structuring of texts. Accordingly, I continually strive to improve my skills of clear and effective writing in Portuguese as in English, targeting the proposed means of communication and the purpose of each text.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is geared toward the academic and professional purposes of the student. Classes include theoretical explanation, argumentative analysis of relevant texts, planning of the dissertation structure, elaboration of arguments and final revision. Students actively participate in each stage presenting and debating reference texts and, in particular, learning to develop their arguments in a coherent and cohesive way.
