About Hugo

After doing a scientific course in college and high school, always with excellent grades in English, a subject that I have always loved, I got a scientific bachelor degree mention TB with 18/20 in English. Wishing to become an airline pilot, I oriented myself in a scientific preparatory class while studying English in particular, a primordial subject in this profession. I did a 2 weeks solo language course in England at the University of Croydon in order to perfect my language. This allowed me to be the best English student in my class during these two years, having an average around 16/20. Then, I obtained the score of 950/990 on the TOEIC, a globally standardized English test, which attests a level of fluent English. I also graduated in a bachelor degree of Physics from the University of Limoges. Finally, in order to pass the competitions of the national school of civil aviation, in which English represents an essential part, I have immersed myself as much as possible in the English language over the past few weeks in order to pass these tests.

English

I maintain that English, even if it requires written, grammatical and vocabulary bases, remains a language that you best learn by speaking and practicing it as much as possible. This is why I give a predominant place to the oral part, indeed, that's in speaking that we take automatisms and language reflexes. We will first start by assessing the student's level with a one hour test on the writing part in grammar, vocabulary, spelling, syntax and translation in general, as well as a written and oral comprehension to finish on a quick speaking test. Depending on the objective set and the exam prepared (or the level targeted) by the student, we can then build a real structured revision plan in order to reach the required level as quickly as possible, while favoring the quality of education. Indeed, whether it is on the field of written / oral expression / comprehension, I will quickly set a studying program with the many resources and complement that I have at my disposal thanks to my academic (and extra-curricular) course. Finally, we can learn and practice, whether by theoretical lessons illustrated with practical exercises on the subject, by longer and / or more difficult exercises at the end of the period and finally by oral listening to English speakers of various origins and by discussions / oral tests that I could conduct with the student in order to make him take and learn linguistic mechanisms live. Depending on the level of study of the student and the exam prepared, we can therefore train on different types of supports, subjects and more or less targeted exercises.
