My teaching approach focuses on student-centered inquiry and discovery. Every assignment or problem utilizes various mathematical properties; I interpret these properties as tools and encourage my students to analyze how to apply them to solve the problem at hand.

An amazing math tutor - so grateful to have Kyle's guidance and support while learning in an online environment. She was my tutor this past semester when I was struggling in my Statistics class at the University of Maryland. Kyle's ability to break down the material to understandable concepts and her patience really stood out to me during our sessions. She created an environment where I felt eager to learn and comfortable making mistakes. Super encouraging and fun sessions! Would love to have her again in the future :)
I've known Kyle since the beginning of her collegiate career. In these past 4 years, Kyle has continuously shown kindness, integrity, competence, and growth in her interactions with others. She is actively involved on campus and I have only heard wonderful thinks about Kyle from our mutual friends. Her passion for teaching is remarkable and she is always thinking of ways to improve her teaching practices for her students. She is quick to volunteer and sign up for opportunities that require engagement with students, and she is ahead of her cohort members in terms of gathered experience. Superprof would be lucky to have a wonderful educator like Kyle!
Kyle is a former classmate of mine and not only has she exhibited dedication as a math student, she is also great when it comes to helping others. She is always easy to approach and I can trust her to be patient and help explain the materials in a way that is easy to understand.
I have known Kyle my entire life, and she has always had an incredible passion for teaching. She has significant experience tutoring math, both in-person and remotely, and has excelled at high-level courses for her mathematics major at University of Maryland. In addition to her experience and technical skills, she has a bright, enthusiastic personality that makes learning fun for her students. Math can be an intimidating subject, and Kyle has the patience and upbeat teaching style to help her students succeed.
Kyle has been tutoring me in Algebra 2 this year and she is helping me find success in class. Math has not been a strong subject for me, but with Kyle’s dedication and encouragement while tutoring, she has helped me master concepts and feel confident in this subject. She is very passionate about helping me do my best. Kyle is very friendly, patient, and motivating. She even gives me guidance for college since she is a college student herself, which has been very helpful to get her perspective. Her rates per session are extremely reasonable and and the quality of each tutoring session is amazing!
Math is not my daughter's favorite subject, and she lacks confidence in the material. I learned of Kyle's credentials from a math consulting facility in my area. She was teaching another student from my daughter's class. Kyle has been tutoring my daughter for several summers. In addition to demonstrating a strong knowledge in math, Kyle is friendly and has a way with teaching that makes learning fun and approachable. This led to a successful tutoring relationship and a stronger math foundation for my daughter.
Kyle is a close friend that I have known for a while. I always reach out to her for any Math help, and she takes the time to walk me through each problem to help me understand the concepts. She is extremely patient and thorough in her explanations. She also frequently follows up on my questions after we have discussed it to make sure I don't have any lingering questions. I definitely recommend Kyle as a tutor for her passion for teaching and engaging attitude when learning from her.
I’ve known Kyle for a few years - she has tutored both my daughter for a high school Algebra 2 class and my son for a Univ of Maryland Math 310 class.
Kyle looks for and finds the right teaching/learning approach and individualizes her approach, as I have seen her do with my kids.
My kids have truly benefited from working with Kyle - she really knows Math and is patient when they sometimes do not get concepts right away.
And her rates are very reasonable - you won’t find a better quality math tutor - I highly recommend Kyle!
