About Alistair
As a singing coach with 6 years of experience and a background in Vocal Arts and Opera, I believe music is both skill and ministry. I help singers grow their confidence, overcome fear, and lead with heart—especially in gospel and contemporary worship. I’ve trained everyone from quiet beginners to young worship leaders preparing for Sunday mornings. My teaching covers vocal technique, breath support, expressive phrasing, and stage presence. I also guide students in maintaining vocal health so they can serve long-term. I’m fluent in modern styles like Pop, Indie, R&B, and worship music. Live performance coaching is a big part of what I do, especially for those leading congregational singing. My passion is helping students find freedom in their voice and connection in their calling. My teaching style balances vocal growth with vocal care. I help singers strengthen their voices while protecting their instrument for years to come. Whether you're preparing for a tour, leading worship weekly, or recording in studio, I teach methods that prioritize vocal health. We cover topics like building stamina, avoiding fatigue, and caring for your voice before and after performances. Lessons also include breath support, expressive control, and smart recovery habits. For soloists, we work on dynamic control and emotional delivery. For ensemble singers, we train in blend, pitch accuracy, and long-set endurance. I believe every voice is unique and deserves personalized care. You don’t need to push your voice to grow—it can grow safely. With the right technique and care, your voice will last a lifetime.
