About Nora

I’m a singing tutor with over 10 years of experience and an Advanced Diploma in Singing. I love working with young children and early teens, making learning fun through creative and playful methods. My lessons are full of games, movement, and storytelling that help teach pitch, rhythm, and vocal basics in a way that feels natural and engaging. I specialize in folk songs, Disney tunes, and musicals, always choosing age-appropriate techniques to support healthy vocal development. Helping students build confidence is one of my greatest strengths. I focus on developing strong listening skills and nurturing a genuine joy for music-making. Every lesson is designed to be a safe space where young voices can grow without pressure. I believe learning to sing should be exciting and enjoyable. Together, we explore music in a way that sparks creativity and passion. My goal is to help each student discover the fun in singing while developing solid vocal skills. With patience and encouragement, I guide them step-by-step to find their unique voice. Learning to sing can be a wonderful adventure, and I’m here to make sure it’s fun and rewarding every step of the way.

About the lesson

For The Fiddler and The Music Major, my teaching approach centers on building confidence, refining pitch accuracy, and enhancing vocal expression. Both personas benefit from tailored techniques that match their unique musical backgrounds and goals. I introduce specific breathing exercises to help control airflow and support vocal power. These routines also promote vocal health, ensuring sustainable progress.

Pitch accuracy is developed through focused ear training, using apps that sharpen their listening skills. Metronomes help maintain steady timing, crucial for both singers and instrumentalists. Recording devices play a key role in tracking improvements and identifying areas to work on. The Fiddler, often used to string instruments, adapts well to pitch exercises that link ear and voice. The Music Major thrives with deeper vocal expression techniques, connecting emotion with sound.

Together, these tools and methods create a strong foundation. Students gain confidence through consistent practice and positive feedback. With dedication, they transform their vocal performance into a powerful, expressive art.
