I am a certified Spanish Instructor with a masters degree. I have 4 years experience as a Spanish Instructor. I have taught all levels - elementary, middle school, high school and college. I have experience as an in-person instructor for homeschooled children and for public/private schools. I have experience teaching remotely as well.

My teaching approach is based on Comprehensive Input, which is student centered and has a whole language approach that is engaging and teaches students by working in a challenging environment that is based on Vygotsky's Zone of Proximal Development. I work with what students DO know in the language, but regularly present information that is just barely beyond students' current understanding to challenge growth and increase in fluency in language development. Through scaffolding instruction style, I help students to understand new concepts that are presented in class in a way that is energetic and engaging and encourages development in the target language.
