¡Hola! My name is Laura, I am a native Spanish speaker, from Spain. Currently based in Ballina, Co. Mayo, Ireland. I am a Spanish tutor with experience teaching students at all levels. I love helping people improve their Spanish in a fun and practical way. I believe that language learning should be practical, enjoyable, and tailored to the student's interests. I prioritize speaking and listening skills through conversations and role-playing scenarios.
I design lessons around activities, games, or projects, such as ordering food in a restaurant or writing an email. Also, I introduce grammar through natural conversations and examples, ensuring they understand how to use it effectively in communication. I use games, videos, podcasts, and music to immerse students in the language. Each student is different, and I adapt my lessons to their specific needs, whether it’s conversational Spanish or exam preparation.
I have worked with young learners, I have created fun and interactive lessons for children and teenagers, focusing on building a love for language through games, songs, and storytelling.
