About Cammy
I am from the Washington DC area and grew up speaking Spanish as part of an immersion initiative. At age 18, I moved to Spain for university, and have been living here since. However I have deep knowledge of both European Spanish, as well as latin American Spanish. Furthermore I have an extensive understanding of the cultural differences between different latin American countries.
In regards to teaching/tutoring I have an array of experience as a private tutor as well as a language ESL volunteer. I have helped Spanish speakers to speak English, and vice versa. I have personal and professional experience in AP exam preparation.
Three words to describe me would be poised, inquisitive and inquieta. I am someone who is always looking to learn, and help others do the same. I have firsthand knowledge of the Spanish culture and language. If you are looking to improve your Spanish in any capacity do not hesitate to contact me, I would love to help you upon your journey.

Hello! I believe that language acquisition best takes place when students can relate to material in a personal manner. So whether you are brushing up for an upcoming trip, preparing for an exam, looking to practice your Spanish, or start from scratch, I can help you!
I like to plan an approach based on your ultimate goal and help you unlock the skills to achieve that goal. A typical package with me starts with a 30 minute consultation that goes over your level, your goals and what you are looking for. If we are a good match from there we will build your program.
My classes each have activities geared towards your interests and learning style with fun activities that combine your Spanish learning with your everyday activities.
