About Trisha
I am a special education teacher with 7.5 years of experience in the elementary public school system along with 2 years of homebound services for PK-7 students. I teach students on a modified curriculum and adjust lessons to meet each student's individual needs. I have taught in Virginia for the past 7 years and moved to Texas over the summer where I currently teach.

I use a multi-sensory learning approach using sight, sound, movement, and touch to connect with what the student is learning. Lessons are scaffold to build upon prior knowledge and promote generalization across multiple genres through the multi-sensory learning experience. Lessons are designed to meet students at their current level and to bridge gaps in the learning process.
