About Brian
I'm a credentialed Special Education teacher with a Master’s degree in the field and nearly 20 years of experience helping students with diverse learning needs thrive. I specialize in supporting learners with ADHD, autism, executive functioning challenges, and learning disabilities, especially those who struggle with focus, organization, or academic confidence. My approach is calm, structured, and highly personalized. I meet students exactly where they are, helping them build effective habits, break down complex tasks, and gain the tools they need to feel successful in school and beyond. Whether I’m supporting study skills, time management, or specific subjects like reading, writing, or math, my goal is always to make learning accessible, encouraging, and relevant to each individual. Students and families often tell me they feel understood, supported, and relieved to finally have help that works. I’m committed to creating a safe and judgment-free space for students to build both their skills and their self-belief.

My lessons are built around personalization, structure, and encouragement. As a credentialed Education Specialist with a Master’s in Special Education and 10 years experience, as well as an additional 8 years providing one-to-one classroom support, I specialize in helping students with ADHD, autism, and executive functioning challenges develop the systems and confidence they need to succeed. I don’t just teach academic content. I teach students how to learn in a way that fits their strengths, pace, and learning style. A typical lesson includes structured check-ins, targeted skill-building (such as study strategies, organization, or subject support), and real-time tools to help students stay engaged and feel successful. I use visual supports, planning systems, and step-by-step guidance to help each learner become more independent and self-assured. Whether we’re tackling essay writing, managing a planner, or preparing for a test, everything is tailored to your student’s goals and learning profile. I work best with K-12 and college students who benefit from structure, accountability, and patient, neurodiversity-affirming support. Many of my students have IEPs, 504 plans, or diagnoses such as ADHD or ASD, and I design every session with their unique needs in mind. If your student is feeling overwhelmed, falling behind, or just needs a guide to help them stay on track, I’m here to help.
