About Simon
I'm Simon Nußbaum, born in 1988 and living in Bad Honnef am Rhein.
My passion for sports runs like a red thread through my whole life. As a child, I practiced almost every popular sport. Starting with football, badminton, field hockey, table tennis, volleyball and handball up to basketball.
In my youth I developed a strong passion for fun and extreme sports such as mountain biking, skateboarding, snowboarding and windsurfing.
My favorite sport for several years has been climbing, because here I can both strengthen my entire musculature and mentally stay completely in the moment.
After successfully completing an apprenticeship as a carpenter, I decided in 2009 to turn my greatest hobby into a profession. And so I attended the Vocational School for Sport & Business in Lindow for two years. During an intensive training in the areas of sports science, sports management, sports methodology, sports pedagogy and sports psychology, I obtained various licenses in the fitness, rehabilitation and preventive sports sector.
From 2011 to 2013 I worked part-time in a gym. In addition, I worked as a freelance trainer, course and exercise manager in a health studio and at the local sports club. From 2013 to the end of 2016 I headed the medical fitness department in a therapy and rehabilitation practice.
After a few years of professional experience in the field of medical fitness, preventive and rehabilitation sports, my search for the most common causes of illnesses led me to the topic of stress. That's why I started to deal intensively with various relaxation and meditation techniques. As a result, I completed training as a mediation teacher and meditation course leader, as well as a course leader for progressive muscle relaxation according to Jacobsen. Meanwhile, my mental and stress-reducing training includes a variety of techniques that are based either on old Far Eastern traditions or on modern science.
After a long educational trip through Southeast Asia, I became self-employed as a holistic health trainer in 2018 and have been offering professional, personal and individual fitness and health training ever since.

My goal is to accompany you on your way to more health, vitality and quality of life, to motivate you and to support you with a high degree of empathy and professional competence. As a holistic health trainer, I will help you to improve your physical fitness as well as your mental and mental strength. I use various elements such as yoga, Pilates, classic fitness exercises, meditation, mental training and relaxation techniques. Each of my clients receives individual and tailor-made support. Apart from regular 1:1 training, you will also be taught exercises that can also be integrated into everyday life. Each training unit can include both physical and mental exercises. The addition of various relaxation techniques not only helps to reduce stress, but also promotes physical regeneration after training and helps to deal with tension before competitions, exams or lectures, for example. The weighting of the individual training elements depends on your individual wishes, needs and goals. If desired, special sports experiences such as a trip to a climbing hall or similar are also possible.
