About Cleo

I’m a French tutor with 3+ years of experience and a PhD in French Linguistics. My passion lies in helping teenagers aged 13–18 connect with the French language in ways that feel real and relevant. I bring French youth culture into lessons, from popular music and social media trends to films that teens actually watch. This makes grammar and vocabulary feel less like drills and more like tools for authentic communication. I’m especially skilled at teaching contemporary slang and conversational expressions. Teens love learning phrases they can actually use with French speakers online or abroad. My lessons go beyond textbooks to create a space where curiosity and creativity thrive.
