• 1-Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?:-

  Mathematics has always fascinated me due to its logical structure and real-world applications. From solving complex equations in competitive exams like IIT JEE (Mains & Advanced), Olympiads, WBJEE, ICSE, and CBSE to applying mathematical concepts in problem solving, my passion for the subject has only grown. Over the years, I have refined my expertise by teaching students globally and helping them build strong mathematical foundations. I have also taught various curricula including the USA curriculum, IB, IGCSE, Cambridge programs, and other international syllabus equipping students with the skills they need to excel on any stage. I particularly enjoy teaching foreign curriculam because their syllabus have richer theoretical concepts, which not only deepen understanding but also make the learning experience truly rewarding.

• 2. What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  Teaching is not just a profession for me it's my passion. The joy of seeing a student finally grasp a difficult concept and succeed in exams drives me every day. Having faced academic challenges myself, I truly understand the struggles students go through. I simplify learning with intuitive explanations, clever tricks from Vedic Mathematics, and clear conceptual visualization to make math both fun and engaging. Since I have experienced online learning firsthand, it has inspired me to embrace and excel in online teaching helping others overcome challenges just as I once did.

• 3. How does your work help society?

  Mathematics is the backbone of many fields from engineering to finance and by helping students excel in this subject, I empower them to pursue successful careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, crack competitive exams, and further their higher studies. I also focus on the practical applications of math so that students not only score well but also develop a strong problem solving mindset. Sometimes, extremely challenging questions arise that might take one or two days to solve without help; these tough problems teach students patience and persistence, valuable skills for both academics and life.

• 4. If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  I look up to my high school math teacher, Mr Saurav Singh. His patient, innovative approach and unwavering belief in every student's potential showed me that learning is a journey not a race. His unique methods not only made difficult concepts clear but also sparked my passion for sharing the beauty of math with others.

• 5. Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  In addition to teaching math, I enjoy competitive coding, web development, and content creation. I regularly participate in coding contests, build web applications, and create educational content to share my knowledge and passion with others.

• 6. Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  I recently worked with a student from Germany who hadn't studied math for over 12 years-he last attended math classes in 12th grade and was really struggling. I started teaching him from the very basics, and gradually his confidence grew. Now, he feels comfortable with math and has even achieved an impressive 88% in his B.Sc. exam. This experience shows that with the right guidance and a bit of perseverance, anyone can overcome their challenges and excel in math.
