About Kun
I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Dance at the University of Hawai'i, with a focus on contemporary dance research and cross-cultural dance fusion. I hold a Master's degree in Dance Education from the University of Edinburgh, where I deepened my understanding of dance pedagogy and performance. Prior to my academic pursuits, I worked as a choreographer and performer with the China Oriental Song and Dance Troupe, where I contributed to various stage productions and gained invaluable experience in choreography, directing, and performance. My diverse background in both performance and academia allows me to bring a unique perspective to the study and teaching of dance, blending tradition with innovation.
